I take photos as a hobby. My grandfather inspired me years ago when he began digital photography. He is more of a still-life photographer. My main subjects are domestic animals, the occasional wild animal, and flowers and plants. Basically, I photograph nature with of course the occasional odds and ends.

I live in South Carolina. What is SC like? It's a warm state on the Eastern side of the United States. I'm above Georgia and below North Carolina. Here it gets in the high 90's in the summer, but the humidity level is high and it feels like it's in the hundreds in the dead of summer. It gets as cold as 10 degrees, but rarely. Does it snow? HA. It hasn't snowed in 5 years and when it does...we get just enough to cover the ground then it all melts away by evening. It doesn't look like fall until late November and true winter begins in January and seems to end in March.
